CHROMA

Geometric Tension & Chromatic Collision

The soul of this collection represents a journey through time, inspired by the founder's cherished family heirlooms: gilded gold hat ornaments from the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, and silver floral coins from the late Qing and early Republic eras of China. These artifacts whisper stories of blessing, family, and timeless artistry.

The inscriptions on the hat ornaments —“金玉满堂” (Jīnyù mǎntáng – “May your life abound in prosperity and fulfillment”) — embody wishes for a fulfilling life and a thriving family. We carry this legacy forward.

The Chroma Earrings center on a full-moon-like cabochon gemstone, held in a substantial gold setting. Its soft curves and luminous volume preserve the rich, lustrous presence characteristic of traditional Eastern jewelry, carrying a timeless blessing into a striking statement piece meant to be worn, felt, and lived.

The vibrant hues and delicate motifs of antique silver coins inspire the collection’s distinctive four bezel-set prongs, positioned at each corner. Crafted in FOMA’s specially blended dual-tone 18K gold, the earring body and individual prongs contrast subtly in hue, creating layered visual depth. Each prong is set with a natural gemstone, forming a captivating interplay of color with the central stone.

This collection represents a millennial-spanning experiment in goldsmithing, shaping heirloom-worthy pieces through geometric tension and chromatic collision . Wear it to awaken gilded memory, and unfold a vibrant ode to the richness of life.
