How do you ensure the quality of your jewelry?

FOMA upholds the highest standards through ethical sourcing and meticulous craftsmanship. Every gemstone and metal is hand-selected from trusted suppliers, then crafted and inspected through multiple stages of precision setting, polishing, and final quality control - ensuring each piece meets our exacting standards of purity, precision, and durability.

We use only solid 18K gold, custom-alloyed in FOMA’s signature tones to achieve a distinctive balance of color, radiance, and strength. Each piece is made from genuine, never-plated gold offering lasting brilliance and structural integrity that far outlasts plated or softer precious metals.

This commitment to superior materials and uncompromising craftsmanship ensures that every FOMA creation embodies the true standard of high jewelry.


Orders

Are all FOMA creations made to order?

Our made-to-order model reflects FOMA’s commitment to exclusivity, craftsmanship, and responsible creation. Each piece begins only after your order is placed, allowing our artisans to devote full attention from gemstone selection to the final polish. By crafting only what is truly desired, we reduce waste and ensure that every FOMA creation is made exclusively for you.

Can I personalize or customize my piece?

Yes. Through our Create with FOMA service, you can personalize an existing design with alternative gemstones, engravings, or metal finishes—or create an entirely bespoke piece designed exclusively for you. Our design team will guide you through each step to ensure your jewelry becomes a true reflection of your story.

When will I be charged for my pre-order?

Your payment is processed in full at the time the order is placed to secure your materials and reserve your place in our production queue.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Each FOMA creation is individually handcrafted to order, with a standard lead time of 4–8 weeks from order confirmation. This period allows for thoughtful material sourcing, multi-stage hand-finishing, and a final quality inspection before your jewelry leaves our atelier. For bespoke commissions, an order-specific timeline will be provided once the design is finalized.

Will I receive updates during the crafting process?

Yes. You’ll receive updates at key milestones—order confirmation, start of production, and final quality approval before shipment. Our Client Care team is always available for any questions in between those milestones.

What is your return and exchange policy?

Because each FOMA piece is handcrafted to order, changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed once production begins. However, orders may be modified or canceled within 48 hours of purchase by contacting customercare@fomafinejewelry.com for assistance.

For current FOMA designs—the existing styles from our collections—exchanges or returns for store credit are accepted within 7 days of receipt, provided the piece is unworn and in its original condition.

For bespoke commissions, all sales are final. As each piece is crafted to your specifications, cancellation after confirmation will result in the forfeiture of the design deposit. Please review all details carefully before placing your order. If a craftsmanship issue arises, contact us within 7 days of receipt for resolution. The natural inclusions and internal characteristics of a gemstone are inherent qualities and do not constitute a material or craftsmanship defect, and are not eligible for return or exchange.

Do you offer a warranty or repair service?

FOMA warrants its creations against defects in materials and manufacturing for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase, including routine maintenance and cleaning during this period.

Please note that certain conditions—such as normal wear and tear, misuse, or unauthorized alterations—are not covered under this warranty. For full details and exclusions, please refer to our Warranty Policy page.

If your piece requires service outside the warranty scope, our team will be pleased to assist with professional restoration or repair upon evaluation.


Shipping & Delivery

Where does FOMA ship?

We currently ship to the United States, Canada, and select international destinations using secure, insured shipping methods. If you would like to confirm delivery availability for a specific region, please contact us at customercare@fomafinejewelry.com.

Per UPS policy, an adult who is at least 21 years old must be present at the delivery address to sign for the package upon receipt.

Is the packaging discreet?

While the interior presentation is luxurious, the exterior shipping box is discreet and does not indicate the valuable contents—prioritizing the security of your order until it reaches you.

How is my jewelry packaged?

Each FOMA creation arrives in our signature lambskin-wrapped box, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a branded shopping bag, ensuring every unboxing moment is as memorable as the piece itself. Upon request, your order may also include a personalized message on our signature card and a gift receipt.
